Before forming Baker Strategy Group, David was Director for Business Development at CFI Group and a Senior Consultant with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. With these firms, David ran client engagements for companies such as ServiceMaster, Emerson, Domino’s Pizza, and Schuler. David has lived in China and has conducted studies on the Chinese automotive and education markets. He is active in the Detroit-area community and has conducted projects for area nonprofits such as the Detroit Economic Club and the Detroit Institute of Arts. David has a BA in Organizational Communication from Eastern Michigan University and an MBA with High Distinction in Corporate Strategy and International Business from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. He is married with five children and lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan. |

Her undergraduate thesis was on Japanese influence on French poetry, and her Ph.D. dissertation treated Chinese translations of Western classics and writer Pearl Buck, who sought to “interpret” China for Western readers. Dr. Baker taught English and writing in Tokyo, at Tianjin University in China, and at the University of Michigan. She also served as administrator and translator for five teams of North American English teachers to China for summer language institutes. |

In the Christian publishing market, Don has developed both category management and author brand development tools for Zondervan publishing, a division of HarperCollins. Through Spring Arbor Distributors, Don has also provided services for most of the CBA publishers including Thomas Nelson, Tyndale, Multnomah, and Baker Book House. After receiving his BA from Wheaton College, Don completed graduate work at the University of Michigan in Speech, Communications and Theatre. The quality of Don’s work and that of the MOVE team has been recognized by industry peers through ADDY, Tele and EMMY awards. |
